Mighty Action Sound System was original created by Wally Williams who is of Jamaican lineage, and who has been the promoter and host of ALL Mighty Action Events.  Since a teenager living in Jamaica, Wally Williams has had a craving for Soundman Lifestyle; meaning his everyday mission was comprised with the engineering and overall development of an actual Sound System.  Wally was apart of a few sound in the 1980s;  Black Arrows (Spanish Town Area) and Phrequency Sound (Portmore and August Town Area).   Wally eventually developed his own name and secured a small Sound System within the neighborhood of Spanish Town and named it City Star.  City Star was utilized as an area (local) sound system and various local events and outings.  Wally moved to the US 1994 and successfully build his first sound system here in the United States in Washington, DC 1994; but although the Jamaican sound system name was City Star, Wally decided to change the name to Action Fire.  Action Fire was born 1994!  After a few years, an individual entertainer came on the scene and was known to be Action Fire, therefore Wally immediately changed the name to Action International.  

 

While in the US, Wally had that same musical crave so while building his own, he eventually became a DJ on Martin sound system called Acid.   After that time period Wally met Kiddimus who in turn became Action Road Manager.   

A few years later, 1998, Kiddimus purchased Earthquake Sound System, and at that time understandably was no longer Road Manager for Action.  Years later all Earthquake DJs begun to have various difficulties resulting in Wally having to step in as needed and assist as a Earthquake DJ.  Wally assisted and organized everything Earthquake around 2005 as Kiddimus was able to secure a DJ of his own named Smiley.  

 

As Wally wed and became a father, he strived to remain available and accessible to his family at all times, so within that state of mind he further shipped the entire sound system to Spanish Town Jamaica.  With Action International presence taking over the housing schemes and Spanish Town Area, the name easily became a household and dancehall name.  As the sound became more infamous, the Don of Spanish Town suggested a name change to Mighty Action, stating that the sound system was too MIGHTY to be called just Action.  After the Mighty Action strived for a few years and with wear and tear, and not having the true care it needed in Wally continued long absences and distance from the sound system.  Wally made a hard decision to store the sound due to lack of enthusiastic individuals needed to maintain growth.  As he reinvented the sound in Jamaica, after divorce, he then decided to re-enter the dancehall scene and built an entire new sound system here in the US.  Wally now has two sound systems; USA and Jamaica.  He has also begun hosting his own Mighty Action Anniversary Event annually every third Saturday of July, called LOADED.
